Custom Printed Jewelry Display Cards
Custom printed jewelry display cards hold earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings securely for retail displays, markets, and e-commerce orders. Made from 300 to 400 GSM cardstock, they support custom printing, sizes, shapes, holes, and jewelry-specific cuts. Brands can add logos, colors, care details, and premium finishes such as foil, embossing, spot UV, and lamination.
Key Benefits
Choose from white SBS, kraft, or uncoated cardstock for different brand styles. Custom earring holes, necklace slits, hook holes, and fold-out tabs keep jewelry secure and easy to display. Recyclable paperboard options support sustainable packaging needs. Orders start at 100 cards per design, with no die or plate charges and standard 10 to 12 business day turnaround across Canada.
Sizes, Holes and Stock Options
Card size is set by your longest piece plus roughly half an inch of clear card beneath it. These are the sizes Canadian jewellery brands order most often.

Standard earring holes are punched at roughly 1.65 mm — deliberately tight, so an ear wire threads through and the card grips the post instead of letting pieces slide loose in a mailer. The hanging hole is punched at about 7 mm, roughly 12 mm down from the top edge. Every size can be produced with or without the hook hole; it changes the die, not the price.
Card Styles for Every Piece You Sell
Earring Cards: The workhorse of the range. Two punched holes take the posts, and a hook hole above them lets the card hang on a peg display at eye level. Studs and hoops sit well on the square 2 × 2 format; dangles need the extra drop of a 2 × 3.
Necklace and Pendant Cards: These swap punched holes for side slits or diagonal cuts that hold a chain flat and stop it tangling in transit. A 350 GSM stock is the minimum here — anything lighter curls under the weight of a heavier pendant.
Bracelet and Ring Cards: Long, narrow cards with a slit at each end keep a bracelet under gentle tension so it presents flat. Ring cards work as a small folded or slotted format, and are often finished with foil for a higher price point.
Artwork, Dieline and Printing
Send print-ready artwork as a PDF or AI file at 300 dpi, and our design team will position it against the dieline before anything goes to press. Keep a 3 mm safe margin on every edge, extend backgrounds to full bleed, and leave the top third of a hanging card clear for your logo — that is what a customer sees first on a rack.
The most common artwork mistake we correct is a logo or line of text sitting directly under the punch positions. Because the holes are die-cut after printing, anything in that zone disappears. Our team sends a free digital proof with the hole positions overlaid so you can approve placement before production begins.
Cards work hardest when they match the rest of your jewelry packaging rather than sitting apart from it. Brands shipping earrings by post frequently mount the finished card inside custom pillow boxes, which protect the piece in transit and turn a flat card into a giftable unit at almost no extra weight.
Why Canadian Jewellery Brands Order From iCustomBoxes
Most makers sourcing custom cards run into a 500-piece minimum on marketplace listings, or a three-week wait and customs paperwork on a cross-border order. We print in runs from 100 cards, ship free across Canada, and quote instantly through 24/7 live chat. Free samples, free design support and no die or plate charges mean testing two sizes costs you nothing extra in setup — and when a collection moves upmarket, the same artwork carries over to custom rigid boxes without a redesign.
