Box Styles and Sizes
The style you pick depends on how the popcorn moves.
- Open-Top Scoop Boxes: the classic flared shape. Fast to fill under a popper, easy for staff to hand across a counter. Standard fills run roughly 46 oz, 85 oz, and 130 oz.
- Close-Top Boxes: a folding lid keeps corn in place when customers walk with it. Better for arenas, stadiums, and grab-and-go shelves.
- Six Corner and 1-2-3 Bottom Styles: sturdier base for heavier caramel or coated corn.
- Popcorn Tubs and Trays: for combo deals paired with drinks.

Food-Grade Stock and Grease Resistance
This is where popcorn packaging usually fails. Butter and coconut oil will soak through uncoated board within minutes.
We use food-grade paperboard — coated SBS for full-colour printing, or brown kraft for a natural look — with a grease-resistant coating on the inside face. Thickness runs 12pt to 24pt. For most open-top popcorn boxes, 16pt to 18pt is the sweet spot.

Printing, Colour, and Finishing

Finishing options: gloss lamination, matte lamination, aqueous coating, spot UV, foil stamping, embossing. For food service, aqueous is the practical default — it protects the print without adding cost. Matte reads more premium on retail shelves. Send artwork as AI, PDF, or PSD at 300 dpi. Our graphics team returns a 2D dieline and a 3D mockup for your sign-off. Nothing prints until you approve it.
